Drawing and painting are my life.
I was hooked at the tender age of nine when I won first place in
the county art show with a drawing of a frog in a top hat.
I continued my art career in high school
by drawing nudes for the boys on their binders in exchange for a dollar,
or an ice cream sandwich.
After a brief stint in the corporate world I decided to go
to college where I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Illustration
from San Jose State University.
I feel very fortunate that I am able to pursue this career and
I am thankful to every client that has paid me to do something that I love to do.
I am drawn (no pun intended) to editorial illustration because I enjoy making images
that make people think about the many sides of society and culture.
